The iPhone 8 Plus is the direct successor to the iPhone 7 Plus from last year. Despite a version number jump in between, the iPhone 8 Plus feels more like a ‘s’ upgrade.

    • It is also slightly heavier at 202 gms vs 188 gms of the iPhone 7 Plus
  • Both phones feature an IP67 dust and water-resistant

  • The iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone 7 Plus feature a 5.5-inch Retina HD LCD display
    • Both have a resolution of 1920 x 1080 with 401 ppi
    • They also support 3D Touch, Wide color display, and have a max brightness of 625 cd/m2
  • The iPhone 8 Plus’ Retina HD display supports True Tone display technology
    • The display automatically tweaks the white balance to improve readability depending on the ambient lighting
